Taking place in a specially built workshop nestled in Birmingham's historic Jewellery Quarter, Katherine Ryan hosts as eight talented jewellers battle it out to prove they can be the next big jewellery-making sensation. In each episode, the competitors are faced with two very different challenges, with their work judged by are two of the biggest names in the business, Solange Azagury-Partridge and Shaun Leane, before one contestants leaves the competition.

The sewers start in their efforts to impress with the first pattern challenge, creating the simple, clean lines of the versatile classic sleeveless blouse called a 'shell top', and, for the transformation challenge, they must turn old T-shirts into completely new garments for men, women or children, in just 90 minutes. In the made-to-measure, mannequins are replaced with real-life models, but who will whip up a well-fitting buffet dress and win themselves garment of the week, and whose hopes of staying in the competition will flounder?

Comedy about thirtysomething Irish fantasist Frank Marron, a misanthropic, narcissistic in arrested development who thinks the world owes him something. In the opening episode, Frank is shocked to hear that his ex-girlfriend, Aine, has a new boyfriend and decides to learn mixed martial arts to match up to the new man in her life.
