THIS MORNING: OLIVIA ATTWOOD JOINS ITV DAYTIME AS PRESENTER

Today on This Morning, Olivia Attwood joined Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley to discuss the second series of her ITV documentary ‘The Price of Perfection’ and during her appearance, announced that she would be joining the This Morning family.

Olivia said: “I have some news, yes, it’s very exciting. I’ll be joining you guys on the hosting team - on the other side of the couch." Ben said: “Sitting on this side! Come on, come over and sit down and see what it’s like.”  Swapping seats, Olivia said: “This feels more surreal than anything!”  

Olivia will host a few summertime shows and explained: “I’m going to be doing a couple of shows in the summer, I’m very excited to be joining you guys. It’s a huge honour, I’ve obviously grown up watching this show and being part of the Daytime team with the Loose Women has been the best experience and this just feels like a very natural progression of that.” 

This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV1.
