THIS IS MY HOUSE AXED BY BBC AFTER TWO SERIES
This Is MY House, the addictive guessing game format created by Richard Bacon and Nick Weidenfeld, will not be returning to BBC One for a third series, the broadcaster has confirmed.
Each episode sees four people walk into a home and say, “This Is MY House”. The catch, only one of them is telling the truth. It is the job of a team of celebrity judges work together to figure out who is the honest homeowner and who are the imposters.
A BBC spokesperson said: "Sometimes difficult decisions have to be made, so whilst there will be not be another series of This is MY House on BBC One and iPlayer, we would like to extend our thanks to Richard Bacon and the entire team at Expectation plus all our celebrity sleuths for two series of the show."
The first series was hosted by Stacey Dooley in an hour-long format. Following positive reaction to the series the BBC commissioned a second. This time without a presenter and a 'refreshed' half-hour format.
Celebrity detectives across the two series included Bill Bailey, Emily Atack, Jamali Maddix, Joel Dommett, Nick Grimshaw, Joe Sugg, Jimmy Carr, Katie Piper, Richard Madeley and Judi Love.
This Is MY House is available now on BBC iPlayer.
