SOPHIE WILLAN REPLACES SARA PASCOE AS HOST OF THE GREAT BRITISH SEWING BEE ON BBC ONE

Comedian Sophie Willan has been announced as the new host of The Great British Sewing Bee from its next series in 2026.

Willan, best know for her own hit BBC comedy series Alma's Not Normal, will enter the haberdashery alongside returning judges Patrick Grant and Esme Young as the trio welcome a new set of sewers hoping to impress the judges and be crowned Britain's most sensational seamster.
Cal Turner, BBC Commissioning Editor, said: "We are delighted to welcome Sophie Willan to The Great British Sewing Bee. With her boundless enthusiasm and energy, Sophie will bring her own unique spark to the sewing room alongside Patrick and Esme.
