Cannonball

Cannonball was a primetime ITV gameshow hosted by Freddie Flintoff, produced by Potato and Talpa, and ran for one series of 8x60' episodes. Joining Freddie as co-hosts were Frankie Bridge, Radzi Chinyanganya, Ryan Hand and Maya Jama.

Each episode sees 24 contestants take on four games in a bid to win gold, silver and bronze medals. The three contestants with the most medals go through to the final round.

Qualifying rounds included Blob, where one or two people weighing 2.5x the contestant's body wight jumps from a tower onto an inflatable blob, sending the contestant into the air, and Skimmer, where two contestants go down a 14m slide on body boards.

The series filmed in April 2017 in Valletta in Malta. It did not return for a second series, though did air a Christmas special later in the year.
