UPDATE - Sunday 8th March

The Sun newspaper has revealed Strictly pro Nadiya Bychkova has also been let go.

Strictly Come Dancing bosses are reportedly seeking to 'refresh' the line-up of pro dancers on the show, hoping for a fresh start when the show returns this Autumn with new hosts, The Sun reports.

The newspaper reports that bosses have decided not to ask back Gorka Marquez, Luba Mustak and Michelle Tsiakkas. The BBC has not denied the reports, only saying: "Plans for Strictly Come Dancing 2026 will be confirmed in due course."

Meanwhile, the BBC are due to announced the new hosts of Strictly Come Dancing very soon. It follows previous hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman stepping down from the show at the end of the last series.

Tess and Claudia co-hosted Strictly Come Dancing together since 2014. Tess presented the show since its very first episode alongside Sir Bruce Forsyth whilst Claudia originally presented Strictly: It Takes Two before moving over to host the results show alongside Tess in 2010.

Since 2014, Tess and Claudia presented the main show and results show together and were the first all-female duo to host a primetime entertainment programme on British TV. In June 2025, Tess and Claudia were both made Members of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) for their services to broadcasting.

More details will be announced in due course.
