In the sixth results show of Strictly Come Dancing 2026, Bethany Antonia and Nancy Xu left the competition following a dance off against Cach Mercer and Maddie Ingoldsby.

Both couples performed their routines again. Bethany and Nancy performed their Foxtrot to Bleeding Love by Leona Lewis, before Cach and Maddie performed their Waltz to That Ain’t You by Mulaa Joans.

After both couples had danced, the judges delivered their verdicts:

  • Anton Du Beke chose to save Cach and Maddie.

  • Craig Revel Horwood chose to save Bethany and Nancy.

  • Motsi Mabuse chose to save Bethany and Nancy.

Head Judge Shirley Ballas – who this week was the judge with the deciding vote – voted to save Cach and Maddie, it meant that Bethany and Nancy would be leaving the competition.

There’ll be immediate reaction from the Strictly dance floor in Strictly: Lights Up, hosted by Abi Clarke and Tyler West, available on BBC iPlayer from the moment the results show credits roll. Bethany and Nancy will then join Ellie Taylor on Strictly - It Takes Two on Monday at 6:30pm on BBC Two and BBC iPlayer.

Sunday night’s results show commemorated Remembrance Sunday with a group performance from the Strictly Professionals. Choreographed by Lizzie Gough and set to the Peter Gabriel arrangement of Heroes, the dance opens with British soldiers leaving for war and is inspired by The Monument to the Women of World War II, focusing on the lives of women during the conflict. The results show also featured music from Gregory Porter, accompanied by a routine from Alexis Warr and Aljaž Škorjanec.

The remaining couples will take to the dancefloor next week, when Strictly Come Dancing returns at 6:25pm on Saturday 14 November. All episodes of the 2026 series so far are available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
