RENOVATION RESCUE AXED BY CHANNEL 4 AFTER TWO SERIES
Channel 4 have axed home-makeover series Renovation Rescue after two series. The first series was presented by Stacey Solomon before new presenters Vogue Williams and Luke Mabbott took the reins earlier this year.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Renovation Rescue had a lot going for it - with some big names fronting it and a big name backing it. But it seems that home-improvement shows - even when helping people in dire need of assistance - are not quite what they were."
Vogue and Luke will pick up where the bad builders have left off, bringing their expertise, warmth and passion to help homeowners wanting to transform their home all by themselves.
The series will follow ambitious renovations as Vogue and Luke share money-saving skills, offer design inspiration, and demonstrate simple DIY techniques anyone can try at home! Together they will prove just how easy, satisfying, and cost effective it can be to pick up a power tool and get your hands dirty!
Renovation Rescue is available now on Channel 4.
