NETFLIX NOVEMBER PROGRAMMING HIGHLIGHTS, NEW AND RETURNING TITLES REVEALED
The new and returning shows airing this November on Netflix revealed.
BLACK DOVES
Helen (Keira Knightley) is still betraying her nation’s secrets to the covert organisation she serves: the Black Doves. But after the misadventures of last Christmas, and with her husband Wallace (Andrew Buchan), preparing to become Prime Minister, she is walking a more treacherous line than ever.
As Helen’s enigmatic handler Mrs Reed (Sarah Lancashire) is ensnared in a ruthless plot to undermine her position in the Black Doves, Helen is reunited with her best friend Sam (Ben Whishaw). The once high-end triggerman is now reduced to lonely drinks in Soho bars and low-rate hits.
NORTH OF NORTH
Winter is settling over Ice Cove, and young Inuk mother Siaja (Anna Lambe) is still determined to make life better - for herself and everyone around her. This season she learns that while you can blow up your life on an impulse, building the one you want takes a little more planning and a lot more hustle. Guided by Pilimmaksarniq - the Inuktitut concept of mastering skills through observation, practice and effort - Siaja is ready to put in the work.
MURDER IN GALICIA
In the quiet village of Pazos, Aniceto (Miguel Borines) and his wife Irene appear to be the perfect couple until one night, when she suffers a brutal attack during an apparent robbery. As she fights for her life in the hospital, Elías (Tristán Ulloa), a sergeant in the Civil Guard who is convinced that Aniceto is the perpetrator, faces a system he perceives as unwilling to heed his warnings or protect the victim. With Aniceto free and Irene’s life hanging by a thread, will the truth come to light before it’s too late?
ALICIA'S LAW
Alicia sees her life change completely when her husband, Aurelio, is found guilty and imprisoned for corruption, while videos linking him to a sex scandal come to light. With her family under public scrutiny, she decides to return to practicing law after 20 years and rebuild her career in order to move forward.
As she tries to regain her professional footing and support her teenage children through this new reality, Alicia begins to question what she wants for her life. A reunion with a former love and the changes in her relationship with Aurelio will force her to make a choice: return to the life she once knew or build a new one on her own terms.
WIN THE MALL
Part shopping spree, part social strategy, this high-gloss reality competition drops players into a living mall where they’ll fight to outshop, outsmart, and outlast one another — and only one will walk away with the keys to the ultimate prize.
More details on all titles will be announced in due course.
