QI RETURNS TO BBC TWO FOR SERIES V, CELEBRITY GUESTS REVEALED

The much-loved show QI is back with series V. From Veggies to Visionaries, this series is packed full of Varied and Vibrant subjects that are bound to fascinate, challenge and entertain.



Whether you’re a curious newcomer or a seasoned QI connoisseur, this series takes Viewers on a Voyage of discovery through a Vast number of topics that start with the letter V.  



This series will see the return of Sandi Toksvig and Alan Davies who will be delving into a Vat of surprising, obscure and downright peculiar facts. They will be joined each week by a host of new and returning panellists, including:  


The 45-minute QI XL version will air on BBC Two every Tuesday, starting on the 22nd October at 9pm. For the first half of the series, the 30-minute repeat will air on the following Sunday for the first 3 episodes, changing to the following Monday for the remaining 5. The series will also include a Christmas special.  



Guests across the series include Nabil Abdulrashid, Neil Delamere, Nish Kumar, Rhys James, Rhod Gilbert, Rob Beckett, Ross Noble, Rosie Jones, Sally Phillips, Sara Pascoe, Jimmy Carr, Jo Brand, Joe Lycett, Ahir Shah, Aisling Bea, Cariad Lloyd.


Plus Josh Widdicombe, Judi Love, Chris McCausland, Daliso Chaponda, Kiri Pritchard-McLean, Desiree Burch, Lara Ricote, Ed Byrne, Laura Smith, Emmanuel Sonubi, Lou Sanders, Eshaan Akbar, Lulu and Gyles Brandreth.



Piers Fletcher, QI’s series producer, said: “It’s been a wild QI ride through the alphabet, but here we are at the letter V and, after 22 years, I think we’re really getting the hang of it...


"But don’t take my word for it – watch the new series and prepare to be amused, amazed, and (who knows?) maybe even aroused. We couldn’t be prouder of Sandi and Alan and all the wonderful guests who have delivered perhaps our best series yet.”
