YOU BET SHELVED BY ITV TWO YEARS AFTER REVIVAL OF ENTERTAINMENT CHALLENGE FORMAT

Following last year's You Bet! On Tour, ITV have axed You Bet! with no further plans for the show to return.

ITV revived the format in 2024 for two studio specials hosted by Stephen Mulhern and Holly Willoughby, before commissioning a full series of a new 'On Tour' format for 2025, which was hosted by Stephen Mulhern solo and saw the show on the road for more epic and unique challenge.

An ITV spokesperson told TV Zone: "You Bet! returned to ITV in 2024 with a peak overnight audience of 4.4m. Both You Bet! and You Bet! On Tour are available to watch on ITVX. There are currently no plans for a new series of You Bet! On Tour."

With the On Tour format, with the panel closer to the action than ever before, they must predict whether each plucky challenger can complete their challenge… or not! From supersized adrenaline-fueled action to smaller, quirkier skills, each challenger is competing for a £5,000 cash prize, while the panellists vie to become that week’s You Bet Champion.

Famous faces who appeared throughout the series included Holly Willoughby, Zoe Ball, Rob Beckett, Alex Brooker, Rylan Clark, Alesha Dixon, Alison Hammond, Babatunde Aléshé, Josie Gibson, Danny Jones, Eddie Kadi, Judi Love, Oti Mabuse, Nick Mohammed, AJ Odudu, Will Best, Greg Rutherford, Adam and Ryan Thomas, Johnny Vegas and Josh Widdicombe.
