Don't Leave Me | Walter Presents Preview (Channel 4)

Walter Presents - which showcases the best foreign language drama series from around the world - continues with this hypnotic crime drama from Italy. When the body of a boy is found in Venice lagoon, Detective Chief Elena Zonin, who is involved in a particularly dark investigation in Rome, returns to Venice after 20 years away to look into the child's death.

Revisiting her hometown means restarting complex and unresolved relationships, including negotiating a work relationship with Daniele Vianello, her ex-lover. Daniele is the main detective on the case and the man who found the body.

He believes that it's an open and shut case of suicide, but Elena suspects that there's a dangerous criminal web linked to the child's death. Is she right?
