Who Cares Wins Awards | Preview (Channel 4)

Hosted by Davina McCall, The Sun's Who Cares Wins Awards celebrate the healthcare heroes who have got us through one of the most difficult years in living history and deserve to be recognised for their incredible achievements.

Channel 4 has partnered with The Sun and NHS Charities Together to televise the star-studded red-carpet awards ceremony for the first time. The evening of moving stories and music features a host of big-name stars, including David Beckham, Kate Garraway, Bill Bailey, Sir Trevor McDonald and many more.

The Sun's Who Cares Wins Awards were set up in 2017 to celebrate and thank NHS and healthcare heroes, key workers and ordinary people who care for us. The awards honour nominees across categories including the Caroline Flack Mental Health Hero award, Best Nurse, Young Hero, Ultimate Lifesaver, and Groundbreaking Pioneer or Discovery. There are also awards for Best Doctor, Best Team, Unsung Hero, Best Midwife, Best Health Charity, 999 Hero, and The Christina Newbury Memorial Award, in memory of The Sun's late health editor who pioneered the awards.

The Sun's Who Cares Wins Awards will be broadcast on Channel 4 from 7:30pm on Sunday 19th September.
