The Chase | 15th Anniversary Special Preview (ITV1)

ITV are to air a celebratory episode of The Chase this September to mark the daytime quiz's 15th anniversary.

A BAFTA award-winning format that isn’t just a quiz, it’s a race, where the players must ensure they stay one step ahead of the chaser, one of the finest quiz brains in the country.

Hosted by Bradley Walsh, contestants must answer general knowledge questions and play their tactics right in order to get themselves into the Final Chase, where they could win a cash pot worth thousands.

The six chasers are Mark Labbett, Shaun Wallace, Anne Hegerty, Paul Sinha, Jenny Ryan, and Darragh Ennis. Labbett and Wallace have both been chasers since series 1, while Hegerty joined in series 2, Sinha in series 4, Ryan in series 9 and Ennis in series 13.

The Chase is celebrating its 15th anniversary with a very special episode where a team of four take on not one but two Chasers in the hope of winning thousands of pounds - it’s double trouble for the contestants, but will this end in tears or with twice the fun?
