PRIDE AND PREJUDICE: FIRST LOOK AND LAUNCH DATE CONFIRMED FOR NETFLIX DRAMA ADAPTATION
Netflix have confirmed the release date for new six-part drama adaptation of Jane Austen’s Pride And Prejudice, which the streamer says will be "closely to the original text, reuniting existing fans with the timeless novel, while also introducing a new generation to Austen."
The lead cast includes Emma Corrin and Jack Lowden who star as the central couple Elizabeth Bennet and Mr. Darcy, with Olivia Colman playing Mrs. Bennet.
Also cast are: Rufus Sewell as Mr. Bennet; Freya Mavor as Jane Bennet; Jamie Demetriou as Mr. Collins; Daryl McCormack as Mr. Bingley; Rhea Norwood as Lydia Bennet; Siena Kelly as Caroline Bingley; Louis Partridge as Mr. Wickham and Fiona Shaw as Lady Catherine de Bourg.
