The new series starts on Christmas Day morning at Ravenseat as the Owen family sit down to open their presents before tucking into their festive dinner.
New year snow turns the Swaledale landscape into a winter playground for the Owen children and, now over two years into the renovation of Anty John’s, Miles and Amanda begin painting the finally dried out plastered walls of the new family home.
Meanwhile, Amanda and historian Derek discover a tragedy in the lives of the Clarksons, once owners of Anty John’s, Clive and Miles deal with a flooded field and, with the sheep going back out onto the moors, Amanda and Clemmie head out into a wilderness bathed in spectacular winter moonlight.
Plus, just a few months after the death of their beloved family dog Chalky, the children are delighted about some unexpected arrivals at Ravenseat.
