We buckle up with Humberside Police as they chase down dodgy drivers and put the most dangerous people on our roads behind bars.

Narrated by Nicky Campbell, cameras follow officers in the Roads Policing Unit as they patrol the East Riding of Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire, including the busy urban areas of Hull, Grimsby and Scunthorpe. With Britain’s worst drivers racking up a whopping 3 million penalty points, dashcam is helping the cops battle the idiots behind the wheel and this series features some of most shocking driving around the UK.

On the M180 near Scunthorpe, a car carrying a suspected burglar hits an ANPR camera. PC’s Matt Tuton and Liam Redmond hit the blues to try and catch it up. Before long they get behind it but need other units as backup to bring it to a stop safely.

As the car exits the motorway, the police seize their chance and box it in, but the driver seems more concerned about losing his footwear than getting nicked! In Hull, PC Adam Barley stakes out the main route in and out of the city for drivers with their foot down. It doesn’t take long before he spots a driver doing 59 in a 40.

When Adam stops the driver, he explains he’s running late for a hospital appointment, but his problems don’t stop there as some more digging reveals he’s driving without insurance. Arguing there must be a mistake, Adam drives him home to look at his documents, but will they prove the driver is telling the truth?

Late night in Hull and PC Moff McEwan is on the hunt for a suspected cloned car which has been linked to a recent burglary. Police track it to a local Mcdonalds, where cops lie in wait to sting the tyres as it leaves.

But the driver might be getting more than a cold burger, as a closer inspection of the car reveals the steering has been ripped out, a boot full of tools and the original number plates still in the back! But will this banned driver be swopping his takeaway for some porridge?
