On March 8th, 2014, Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 disappeared from radar. When the 239 people on board went missing, a global investigation into the greatest mystery of the modern age ensued.

Despite official reports, countless theories, and tireless searches for evidence, one central question remained - What Are We Missing? Episode 1 explores the first few hours and days following the plane’s disappearance, including what happened when conspiracy theories and false accusations started to spiral out of control.

Jeff Wise, science journalist and author of The Plane That Wasn’t There: Why We Haven’t Found MH370, is featured in the docuseries along with reporter and foreign correspondent Florence de Changy, among others.

Many of the victims' loved ones, including families from China, Malaysia, Australia and France are also features interviewed. MH370: The Flight That Disappeared lands Wednesday 8th March on Netflix.
