Location, Location, Location | Series 36 Preview (Channel 4)

Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer return to help more house-hunters find the perfect home in the perfect location.

In the first episode of this new series they're in south London, helping two couples who are at different stages in life but dealing with the same eye-watering London prices. Phil is with Jess and Zac, who've viewed more than 60 properties without success and know they need Phil to help them secure their first home together.

They're searching in a popular patch, and like many of us after lockdown, have realised they want a good-sized private garden and more space indoors to work from home. That's challenging enough, but with properties moving fast, Phil not only needs to find the right place, but he needs to do it quickly.

Meanwhile, Kirstie is with Rachel and Alan, who call themselves the oldest first-time buyers in town. They're fed up paying a whopping £2000 a month in rent and want their own home which they can put their own stamp on. With a very wide search area, it's a tough ask for Kirstie, but she manages to show them houses which make their jaws drop.
