Inside No.9 | Series 9 Preview (BBC Two)

Once again, the series will feature six new stand-alone stories, each being set in a different location, the style and tone changing each week. Viewers will be invited into the extraordinary world of Shearsmith and Pemberton’s storytelling.



Headlining series nine are Dorothy Atkinson (Pennyworth, Mum), Mark Bonnar (Guilt, Napoleon), Charlie Cooper (This Country, See How They Run), Philippa Dunne (Derry Girls, Motherland), Siobhan Finneran (Happy Valley, Benidorm)...

Episode 1: Late-night passengers get stuck in a tunnel when their train breaks down. Patiently, they wait for the replacement service until a nurse gets her purse stolen and tempers start to fray.



Inside No. 9 is BBC Two’s longest current running comedy and consistently ranks as one of the biggest comedies across the channel. The show's popularity spans across the globe, with the series airing in the Nordics, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Australia and China.


Inside No.9 returns Wednesday 8th May at 10pm on BBC Two.
