Tom Parker: Inside My Head | Preview (Channel 4)

In this moving and inspiring film for Stand Up To Cancer, Tom Parker - a member of boy band The Wanted and a father of two - allows cameras into his home, as he and his family learn to live with Tom's stage four cancer diagnosis.

In October 2020, the Parker family's world was torn apart when they were told that Tom has an inoperable glioblastoma - the most aggressive type of brain tumour. Now that his first round of treatment has shrunk the tumour, Tom is determined to turn his situation into something positive while his condition remains stable.

Supported by his wife Kelsey, his family and his former bandmates, Tom takes the extraordinary step of arranging a star-studded charity concert at the Royal Albert Hall, to raise awareness about brain tumours. Tom has just months to prepare for the show and to get The Wanted back together to perform on stage for the first time in seven years.

As the concert approaches, Tom must contend with the complicated emotions that come with grappling with his diagnosis, as well as draining cycles of chemotherapy, and the result of a crucial MRI scan that will show whether or not his tumour has spread further. Faced with the biggest challenge he's ever encountered, Tom learns what he is capable of.
