Emergency On Sunny Beach | Preview (E4)
Every summer, the shores of Bulgaria's Sunny Beach - Europe's cheapest holiday resort - are packed with young tourists trying to live their best lives on trips they'll never forget.
With drink, drugs and sex in plentiful supply, and the town's population swelling from 25,000 to 600,000, the tourists' arrival can bring a whole heap of trouble for those who live and work there.
This entertaining new documentary series, narrated by comedian Maisie Adam, reveals a fresh perspective on the world of hedonistic holidays - by viewing the season through the all-knowing eyes of the Bulgarian emergency services and frontline workers.
With exclusive access to the police, firefighters, medics, lifeguards, and bouncers, the show follows their attempts to keep Sunny Beach's thriving party scene going, while making sure no one comes to harm.
What is it like working these unpredictable, 24/7 jobs in this party-fuelled resort when the party never stops? And what do the locals think of the Brits?
The full series will be available on All 4 following the transmission of this episode on Wednesday 12th April at 9pm on Channel 4.
