George Clarke meets the people breathing new life into our unused and unloved buildings, transforming local landmarks into unique family homes that celebrate their past.

In the first episode of the new series, George pays a visit to solicitor Dawn, who is embarking on a mammoth renovation of her local village shop in Yorkshire, in a bid to turn it into a home for her and her two sons.

But with a six-month deadline, no renovating experience and ambitious plans, including turning a storage room into an outdoor oasis, will her on paper plans work in the real world?
