OTI MABUSE SET TO RETURN TO THE MASKED DANCER AND DANCING ON ICE PANEL FOR SECOND SERIES
Host Joel Dommett will return to host The Masked Dancer (8x90') later this year.
It has now been confirmed that Oti Mabuse will return to the panel for its second series. Mo, Davina and Jonathan are also expected to return, but this is still to be officially confirmed.
Bandicoot TV's Derek McLean said: "Yes, Oti will be back. She is great. She has that level of dance skill and her critical eye is so good for dance. It is a no-brainer that she is coming back."
The format will feature 12 celebrities stepping onto the dancefloor to take on character alter egos as they trip the light fantastic in a bid to wow the panel and confuse with their moves.
Clue packages will accompany every Masked Dancer to help the panel and at home detectives crack the case of who the famous faces behind the masks are. From ballet to ballroom, salsa to swing and everything in between, the mystery line up will be dancing onto screens in 2022.
Katie Rawcliffe, ITV head of entertainment commissioning, added: “Only on ‘The Masked Dancer’ would dancing flamingos, frogs and car washes keep the nation on the edge of their seats, so we’re very happy to bring back more of the same bonkers entertainment in 2022.”
Elsewhere, it's also been reported that ITV have asked Oti to stay on the Dancing On Ice panel for the next series in 2023.
A source told The Sun: "Oti has been asked to return for next year. She has been a huge hit. Oti is already very much part of the Dancing on Ice family - she fits in so well. She is full of good vibes and just makes everyone laugh. she is so infectious. She's here to stay hopefully!"
Dancing On Ice continues Sundays at 6pm on ITV.
