NIALL PATERSON TO ANCHOR FRIDAY NIGHTS ON SKY NEWS
Sky News presenter Niall Paterson is to launch a brand new show on Sky News this Autumn.
The host, who is currently the lead presenter of Sky's Daily Podcast, will launch Friday Night With Niall Paterson later this year airing 7-10pm. It will include the latest headlines as well as a look back at the biggest news stories of the week.
The new show follows a relaunch of Sky News' primetime schedule. In September, Sky launched the Politics Hub with Sophy Ridge which airs Mon-Thu from 7pm. Ridge vacated Sunday mornings to lead the new show. Trevor Phillips replaces Ridge on Sunday mornings.
Earlier this month, Sky launched The UK Tonight with Sarah Jane Mee which takes the 8pm slot. Yalda Hakim will join Sky from the BBC next month as host of a new 9pm World News programme.
