LOVE ISLAND TONIGHT: SUNDAY 30th JULY 2023
THE ISLANDERS COMPETE IN SPORTS DAY
Molly receives a text which reads: “Islanders. It’s time to unleash your competitive side in today’s challenge Sports Day. #InItToWinIt #NoSweat”
Team captains Molly and Tyrique take turns in picking an Islander to join their teams. Joining Molly’s team - the blue team - is Mitch, Jess, Ella B and Lochan and Tyrique’s team - the red team - is Whitney, Sammy, Zac and Ella.
The Islanders compete in a number of challenges including an egg-and-spoon race and tug of war in a bid to claim the top spot. But which team will reign supreme in today’s challenge?
TYRIQUE AND ELLA ARE LEFT FRUSTRATED WITH ONE ANOTHER
Following today’s Sports Day challenge, Tyrique can sense Ella is annoyed. Ella says: “Little things are irritating me today.”
Ella says: “Anytime I speak on anything it becomes a big thing.”
Tyrique says: “What’s your problem?”
Tyrique adds: “We’ve been through this - communication.”
Ella says: “Sometimes when I say something and I’ve said this to you before - you shut me down all the time.”
With the Final looming, can the pair resolve their issues?
MAYA JAMA RETURNS AS ONE COUPLE IS DUMPED FROM THE VILLA AND THE FINALISTS ARE REVEALED
Host Maya Jama returns and makes her entrance to the Villa. Greeting the Islanders, Maya says: “Hi my hunnies!”
Maya asks: “Please can we gather around the fire pit? Here we go!”
As the Islanders gather at the fire pit, Maya says: “Islanders. As you know, whilst on your romantic dates you were asked to vote which couple you thought were the least compatible. I’m now going to reveal who each of you voted for.”
But what will Ella B & Mitch and Whitney & Lochan’s reactions be once they find out who their fellow Islanders voted for? And which couple received the fewest votes from the public?
Maya reveals the couple who received the fewest votes who is then dumped from the island. But who are the final four couples? And as the Final looms, who will be crowned the winners of Love Island?
Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX. Love Island Aftersun follows at 10pm.
