LEGO MASTERS SET TO RETURN FOR CHRISTMAS SPECIAL ON CHANNEL 4

Lego Masters is set to return for a celebrity Christmas special on Channel 4 later this year, with new host Nish Kumar, TV Zone understands.

Comedian Nish Kumar takes over hosting duties from Melvin Odoom for the Lego building competition, which will return for a one-off Christmas special later this year. Judges and celebrities for the special have not been confirmed.

Lego Masters originally ran for two series in 2017 and 2018, before being shelved by Channel 4. The series was hosted by Melvin Odoom with judges were Matthew Ashton and Fran Scott.

Since the UK version went on hiatus, E4 have shown various international versions of Lego Masters, often being one of E4's most watched programmes of the week when consolidated.

The original series saw eight of the best amateur brick building duos in the British Isles put their skills, creativity and imaginations against each other in a series of challenges in bid to be crowned Lego Masters Champion.

TV Zone approached Channel 4 for comment about the Christmas special. More details will be revealed in due course.
