KATHERINE RYAN TO HOST 'ALL THAT GLITTERS'

BBC Two announce Katherine Ryan has host of new jewellery competition series All That Glitters.

The 6x60' series sees eight jewellers go head-to-head as they create items to a brief. Two judges, Solange Azagury-Partridge and Shaun Leane, decide who will be named Jeweller of the Week and who will be heading home.

Each episode will see the contestants set two challenges – The Best Seller, where they create jewellery that appeals to mass market, and The Bespoke, where they cater to a client on a special occasion.

Katherine Ryan said: "I am so delighted to be a part of the beautiful show that is All That Glitters," Ryan said. "I've always loved wearing jewellery and it's fascinating to learn about the intricate process of making these pieces. I'm in awe of the skill and artistry of our eight jewellers, who manage to transform the client's emotion into objects of beauty that last forever."
