ITV BETS BIG ON STRIPPED REALITY FOR EARLY 2025
Two series of Love Island, a second series of Celebrity Big Brother and new series such as Genius Game and Celebrity Infested Waters. Here's a look at some of the stripped reality formats coming to ITV1 and ITV2 within the first half of 2025...
LOVE ISLAND ALL STARS
January, ITV
Love Island All Stars returns to ITV2 and ITVX for a second series next year, celebrating a decade of the nation’s most popular dating show. Offering some of the show’s most memorable singletons from across its eleven series history a second chance at love, the series will return to its all star home in South Africa.
GENIUS GAME
Q1, ITV1
Hosted by David Tennant, in this extreme competition of building alliances, strategic thinking in a battle of wits and manipulation, ten players with their own crucial unique skill will compete against each other in matches that test their strategic thinking and social skills, that will keep viewers guessing right to the end.
CELEBRITY BIG BROTHER
TBC, ITV1
A new cast of famous faces isolated from the outside world as they embark on the ultimate social experiment. Leaving luxury behind, the celebrities will take part in weekly nominations and tough tasks with cameras capturing their every move. Who will win the hearts of the nation, go all the way to the finish line and be crowned the winner?
SHARK! CELEBRITY INFESTED WATERS
Q2, ITV1
Airing in time with the 50th Anniversary of the three-time Oscar-winning film Jaws, the show will dare a group of ocean-phobic celebrities to confront their greatest fear – sharks. Throughout their adrenaline-fueled, challenge-heavy journey in the Bahamas – the shark capital of the world – these A-listers will push past their limits to come nose to nose with nature’s ‘villains.’
THE FORTUNE HOTEL
TBC, ITV1
The addictive case swapping game, in which ten pairs of contestants go head to head in a bid to uncover the case with the life changing £250k cash prize inside, will resume filming in its luxury Caribbean home later this year for series two. The climax of each episode is the nerve-shredding case swap in the seductive Lady Luck bar where each pair must decide whether to keep or swap their case.

The Islanders must do their best to flirt, date, couple up in a bid to avoid being ‘dumped’ from the Island. With new arrivals, heads may turn, while others will prove their true feelings.
