ITV REVEALS SPRING AND SUMMER SPORTING HIGHLIGHTS

ITV have revealed the sporting highlights for the coming months.



THE GRAND NATIONAL

The Randox Grand National meeting is one of the most famous and most watched events in the sporting calendar with an estimated audience of 500 million worldwide - the race always produces unbelievable stories and results, from Bob Champion’s fairy-tale cancer-defying win in 1981 to Tiger Roll’s brilliant double in recent years.



THE EPSOM DERBY

With the Oaks and the Derby, the Downs come alive with a carnival atmosphere as the best three-year-old horses in the world tackle one of the world’s most daunting racetracks - Ed and Francesca Cumani will copresent with the best Flat pundits alongside them to help the viewer decide which horse will gallop its way to sporting immortality.


ROYAL ASCOT

Royal Ascot is the one meeting where everyone wants to be seen - hosted by the Royal family and with the famous procession up the straight every day, the fashion and colour are almost as important as the top-class racing.



THE FA CUP

Mark Pougatch and Laura Woods host live Emirates FA Cup action as the tournament heads to Wembley for the semi-final stages onwards. With Coventry City against Manchester United confirmed to feature in ITV1’s live coverage of the 2023/24 Emirates FA Cup Semi-Finals, a win promises one of the teams a domestic centrepiece final held at Wembley on the 25th of May


EURO 2024

Led by Mark Pougatch, ITV’s star-studded on-screen team will offer expert insight, opinion and analysis of all the action. ITV will show England’s final group game against Slovenia and will have picks one, two and three of the Round of 16 as well as first pick of the semifinals - ITV will also cover the winner of Play-Off A, which could be Wales, against Austria in Group D



WOMEN'S EURO 2025 QUALIFIERS

ITV1 will air key live games as England’s women bid to qualify for Euro 2025. Kicking off with Sweden at Wembley, England’s World Cup runners-up will take on the team that finished third in that tournament in the hopes of making a fast start to Qualifying League A before heading to Ireland four days later
