ITV UNVEILS SLATE OF GAMESHOW FESTIVE SPECIALS, FROM BULLSEYE TO THE 1% CLUB

ITV have revealed its slate of new and returning gameshow favourites which will air festive specials over Christmas and New Year.

Bullseye

The game show is back on ITV with cricketing legend Freddie Flintoff at the presenting helm. Each playing team will be made up of an amateur dart player known as the ‘thrower’ and their team partner the ’knower’. They will combine their skills and throw darts at different game boards while answering questions correctly for ‘points and prizes’.

Pictionary

In the classic sketching and guessing game Mel Giedroyc will be joined by two celebrity team captains who will lead their teams of contestants. Their mission is to draw images to match a word or phrase from a specific category and the teammates will have to guess correctly to score. The show proves you don’t have to be an artist to draw and in fact, if you can’t draw, it makes it even funnier!

The 1% Club

The show’s format sees 100 contestants begin every show, but to make it to the end and win the top prize of up to £100,000, contestants must correctly answer a question that only 1% of the country would get right. Contestants of all ages and backgrounds can take part because, unlike most quizzes, no swotting up on general knowledge is required to do well and logic and common sense are the key to success.

Deal Or No Deal

Host Stephen Mulhern will also be joined by the celebrity players’ family and friends as they take their place in front of the iconic red boxes, but will it hold a big cash prize? Standing in their way is the Banker ready to unnerve, entice and outwit our players - with tensions running high in the studio, will they have what it takes to beat the Banker and win money for their chosen charity?

Wheel Of Fortune

The Wheel of Fortune is back with a celebrity Christmas Special and BAFTA winner Graham Norton as host as three celebrities spin to win money for their chosen charities. The epic game show will once again be centred around a giant carnival wheel. The pressure is on as they pick a letter to solve the puzzle, but who has what it takes in this thrilling game of skill and luck?

The Chase

Hosted by Bradley Walsh, the famous contestants must answer general knowledge questions and play their tactics right in order to get themselves into the Final Chase, where they could win a cash pot worth thousands for their charities.

The six chasers are Mark Labbett (The Beast), Shaun Wallace (The Black Destroyer), Anne Hegerty (The Governess), Paul Sinha (The Sinnerman), Jenny Ryan (The Vixen), and Darragh Ennis (The Menace). The celebrities taking part have not been announced by ITV.

Who Wants To Be A Millionaire

Who Wants to Be a Millionaire is back with a series of brand-new celebrity specials for the New Year - with some wonderful surprises for Millionaire fans, this promises to be the best celeb series yet. Each brave celeb is playing for their chosen charity - who will crumble, who will shine when they face Jeremy Clarkson and the hot seat, and can anyone better Richard Madeley’s £125,000 from the last series?

Transmission details for all the titles above will be announced in due course.
