ITV DAYTIME TO AIR CHRISTMAS DAY SPECIALS FOR FIFTH YEAR

Good Morning Britain, Lorraine and This Morning are set to air Christmas Day specials for the fifth consecutive year on ITV1, TV Zone understands. ITV has not yet formally announced plans for the special episodes.

It's expected to follow the same schedule as previous years, with Good Morning Britain kick starting the day at 7am, followed by Lorraine at 9am and This Morning at 10am. Loose Women is also expected to air festive specials over the Christmas period.

Susanna Reid, Richard Madeley, Kate Garraway and Ed Balls are expected to front the GMB special, with Ben Shepherd and Cat Deeley joined by Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary for This Morning's bumper two-hour show on Christmas Day.

Emma Gormley, Managing Director ITV Daytime said last year: "It wouldn’t be Christmas at ITV Daytime without the return of our Christmas Day special shows from Good Morning Britain, Lorraine and This Morning - all returning this Christmas morning..."

ITV Daytime airs weekdays from 6am on ITV1 and ITVX.
