STEVE JONES JOINS THIS MORNING AS GUEST PRESENTER THIS SUMMER

TV presenter Steve Jones is to guest present This Morning this week alongside Josie Gibson.

Steve is best known as the face of Formula 1 on Channel 4 and host of The X Factor USA. In the UK, he's known for work on T4, Let's Dance For Comic Relief, Sex Box and As Seen On TV.

A source told Mail Online: "The hope is that those watching at home will love Steve, he's a very experienced broadcaster but also very cheeky... Hopefully he will be part of the new dawn for This Morning after the Schofield scandal, and will help to give it a fresh new look."

Following the departure of Phillip Schofield, Holly Willoughby will return to This Morning in September and will continue hosting alongside other members of the This Morning family including Dermot O'Leary, Alison Hammond, Craig Doyle and Josie Gibson.

Alison Hammond, Dermot O'Leary, Craig Doyle and Josie Gibson are expected to continue through to September. ITV have not formerly announced Steve Jones as guest presenter at time of writing.

This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV1 and ITVX.
