ITV SERVES UP TRIPLE HELPING OF JAMES MARTIN FOR 2027
ITV’s hit-series James Martin’s Saturday Morning has been extended into next year alongside two brand new shows, James Martin’s Italian Adventure and James Martin Quick ‘N’ Easy, both for 2027.
Produced by Blue Marlin for ITV, the additions to the schedule will build on the success of James Martin’s Saturday Morning which saw 5.3 million streams on ITVX in the first half of 2026, up 18% year on year.
In James Martin’s Italian Adventure - which will air early evenings on ITV1 and ITVX next year - James will hit the road once again to combine his love of fabulous food, fantastic scenery and fast cars in a brand new series. Having explored the culinary highlights of America, Britain, France and Spain on his previous adventures, this time he’s heading to Italy; a country famed for its food culture and the birthplace of some of the most famous dishes on the planet.
Throughout the series, James will take on the historic Mille Miglia route, often known as ‘the most beautiful race in the world’. Next year will mark the 100th anniversary of this unique experience, with the inaugural motor race taking place there in 1927, as James follows the circuit through a number of foodie hotspots to find out more about each region’s history and local dishes. Along the way, James will also be serving up several mouth-watering recipes that have been inspired by his travels.
In brand new James Martin Quick ‘N’ Easy, which will air on Saturday mornings in 2027, James will share delicious recipes that can be made simply and quickly at home. Distilling his cooking expertise into quick and easy dishes, the award-winning chef will show some of the best and most innovative ways to save time in the kitchen without compromising on flavour.
Alongside the upcoming ITV series, Quadrille will publish two new cookbooks featuring some of the recipes as seen on James Martin’s Italian Adventure and James Martin Quick ‘N’ Easy.
Both new commissions will sit alongside new James Martin’s Saturday Morning episodes into 2027, with the popular chef’s style and passion for food promising a feast of fresh new recipes and more celebrity guests to kick start the weekend.
