DERMOT O'LEARY TO EXPLORE IRELAND FOR NEW ITV TRAVELOGUE
This Morning presenter Dermot O'Leary is set to front a new ITV travel series in which he will explore the food and drink delights Ireland has to offer. O'Leary has Irish heritage as his parents moved to England in the 60s.
A source told The Sun: "Dermot has always been incredibly close to his parents and very proud of his Irish heritage, having spent many a summer holiday back in the Emerald Isle...
"The show would also see him explore another of his great loves — quality food and drink. And modern Ireland has plenty of both.“It’s also a cheeky chance to drop in on his parents while he’s over there."
The series will reportedly be made by the same production company who are making a similar show fronted by Gary Barlow, also airing on ITV.
Despite travelling the world as part of Take That, the multi-award winning singer songwriter has always had a soft spot for South Africa and now as a newcomer and an entrepreneur in the wine industry, Gary’s endearing love of the country extends beyond the epic landscapes and roaming wildlife.
More details will be confirmed in due course.
