LAUNCH DATE REVEALED FOR NEW SERIES OF GOGGLEBOX ON CHANNEL 4

Britain's sharpest armchair critics are back to share more of their insightful and passionate takes on the week's biggest and best shows.

Each episode is filmed over the previous seven days, covering that week’s TV and news highlights. In each household, Gogglebox will capture their instant reactions, love/hate relationships and fierce debates on the best and worst television shows of the past week – all from the comfort of their sofas.

From the Saturday night juggernauts and the week’s big soaps, to documentaries and gritty drama, the Gogglebox households offer witty, insightful, feisty and sometimes emotional critiques of the week’s popular and topical TV shows.

Their reviews could also be interrupted by breaking news stories and controversial TV events – subjects the outspoken households certainly won’t be shying away from. Gogglebox shows the best of the nation's telly-loving households to capture their time spent in front of the box and find out what Britain really thinks.
