GB NEWS: OFCOM LAUNCHES INVESTIGATION INTO ESTHER & PHILIP INTERVIEW

Ofcom have launched an investigation into an edition of Saturday Morning with Esther and Philip on GB News, following an interview between the presenters, who are serving Conservative MPs, and Chancellor Jeremy Hunt.

Ofcom said in a statement: "We have launched a new investigation into Saturday Morning with Esther and Philip, which aired on GB News on 11 March. We’re investigating whether this broke our rules requiring news & current affairs to be presented with due impartiality."

"As part of this, we will look at the programme’s compliance with our rules on politicians presenting programmes, and whether it included a wide range of significant views relating to a matter of major political controversy or current public policy."

GB News is available on Sky channel 512.
