Blankety Blank has been shelved by the BBC after five series, owing to Walsh's busy schedule which is prevented the show going into production this year.

Speaking to RadioTimes, Walsh said: "I just don't have the time, which is sad because I've loved Blankety Blank. It's been one of my favourite shows, and it's been brilliant. Blankety Blank has been brilliant...
"It really makes me laugh. It's the most fun you can have in the studio, and I just cannot at the moment work on it. I just have not got the time. I would normally go to studio October, but I'm all taken up in October and November, so I just haven't time to do it. Maybe next year."
Each episode saw Bradley joined by six big name celebrities who will be helping four contestants try to win some of telly’s most ‘unique’ prizes. All that stands in the way is a series of statements with missing BLANKS.
Contestants just need to fill in the blanks and if their answer matches those of the celebrities’, they’re in with a chance of taking home the goods, which can vary anywhere from an inflatable hot tub to a garden shed. And for those not lucky enough to make it all the way, there is of course the iconic consolation prize, the Blankety Blank cheque book and pen.
The BBC declined to comment.
