FAME IN THE FAMILY 'SHELVED' BY CHANNEL 4 AFTER ONE SERIES

The daytime DNA guessing game is unlikely to return for a second series, TV Zone understands. This has not been confirmed by Channel 4.

The series, which aired in afternoons on Channel 4 in Spring 2022, saw one celebrity host a very special dinner party for four guests they've never met!

Over dinner, they play three fact-finding games that reveal fascinating celebrity biography, childhood memories and family history to help them work out who is related to the famous face.

At the end of the dinner party, the diners make a final guess as to who they think is related to the celebrity before the DNA results are revealed. Those who get it right win a share of a thousand-pound cash prize and at least one of the diners goes home with a prize that money can't buy... fame in the family!
