EURO 2024: TODAY'S FIXTURES, WEDNESDAY 19 JUNE
Here's a rundown of today's fixtures at Euro 2024 and which broadcaster you can watch on.
Croatia v Albania
2pm, ITV1
Mark Pougatch presents live coverage of the match from Hamburg alongside Ian Wright, Karen Carney and Danny Röhl and will include all the key news from the England and Scotland camps. Seb Hutchinson is alongside Andros Townsend in commentary.
Croatia have great international pedigree having reached the last four in the 2018 and 2022 World Cup. Albania’s manager is Brazilian and ex Arsenal defender Sylvinho, he oversaw an impressive qualifying campaign where they finished top of the group. This will be their second Euros, the first time they qualified was in 2016.
Germany v Hungary
5pm, BBC One
Gary Lineker presents live coverage as hosts Germany take on Hungary as the Euro 2024 group stage enters the second round of matches.
The two nations met in the final round of group games three years ago, with Germany midfielder Leon Goretzka’s late equaliser ensuring his side reached the last 16, leaving Hungary – who would themselves have qualified with a win – consigned to fourth place in Group F.
Scotland v Switzerland
8pm, BBC One
Gabby Logan presents the action, with commentary from Steve Bower and James McFadden. Prior to this tournament, Scotland had won just two matches across their previous three appearances in these finals, including a group stage triumph against Switzerland on home soil in 1996 – although Ally McCoist’s winner was not enough as the Scots exited on goals scored, following Patrick Kluivert’s late consolation for the Netherlands against England.
