EURO 2024: TODAY'S FIXTURES, MONDAY 24 JUNE

Here's a rundown of today's fixtures at Euro 2024 and which broadcaster you can watch on.

Albania v Spain

8pm, BBC

Live coverage of Albania v Spain from Dusseldorf as Group B draws to a conclusion, with places in the round of 16 up for grabs. Commentary comes from Guy Mowbray.

The Albanians have qualified for only their second Euros under the leadership of coach Sylvinho, the former Arsenal full-back, but began as outsiders in Group B, which also includes heavyweights Italy and Croatia.

Three-time champions Spain are competing in their 12th European Championship and are hoping to better their semi-final finish from 2021, when they were beaten 4-2 on penalties by eventual champions Italy.

Croatia v Italy

8pm, BBC

A heavyweight clash as Group B reaches its conclusion with a meeting between major tournament specialists Croatia and Euro 2020 champions Italy in Leipzig.

Croatia finished second to England in the Euro 2020 group stage, leading them to a round of 16 meeting with Spain that resulted in one of the most entertaining games of the tournament. Trailing 3-1 with five minutes remaining, Zlatko Dalic’s side scored twice to dramatically take the game into extra time. However, two goals from Spain in the first half of the additional 30 minutes saw them eliminated.

The Italian squad has changed significantly since winning the trophy at Wembley three years ago, but they still pose a huge threat and can call on goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, who won the player of the tournament award at Euro 2020.
