The former BBC Two quiz has found a new home on Channel 5. Last year, the BBC said it was resting the popular daytime quiz.
Host Jeremy Vine said: "The programme which I presented for more than 10y ears, Eggheads, one of the greatest quizzes in the history of British TV is moving to Channel 5 later this year. I'm sure fans of Eggheads will share my delight that it has found a new home."
Judith Keppel, one of the Eggheads, said: "I'm thrilled to bits. I can't tell you how lovely it will be to have something to do at last!"
Eggheads returns this October on Channel 5.
