DOCTOR WHO AM I: DOCUMENTARY LANDS ON BRITBOX UK

Doctor Who inspired documentary Doctor Who Am I is now available for UK audiences on BritBox and ITVX (via X Premium subscription).

Doctor Who Am I is described as a 'funny and emotionally perilous' documentary which follows screenwriter Matthew Jacobs, who wrote the franchise's 1996 TV movie, re-enter the Whoniverse to reasses his relationship with Doctor Who and the American fans who vilified him.

Featuring original cast of the movie, including Paul McGann, Eric Roberts, and Daphne Ashbrook, this funny and emotionally perilous documentary not only revisits a pivotal moment in Doctor Who history, but "highlights the unity and creative freedom within the fandom, as Jacobs ultimately, and unexpectedly, finds himself a kindred part of this close-knit, yet vast, family of fans."

BritBox UK is currently home to over 600 pieces of Classic Doctor Who content, including a mix of episodes, spin-offs, documentaries, telesnaps and many rarely-seen treasures.

There's a total of 129 complete stories on the platform - that's 558 individual episodes - which span the first eight Doctors from William Hartnell to Paul McGann. BritBox's library also includes the 1960s movies starring Peter Cushing.
