Channel 4 has ordered Cruising to the Ends of the Earth, a new eight-part series from Brighton-based Crackit TV (Supercruising: Life at Sea, Social Media Monsters), which will take viewers on unforgettable experiences across the globe.

The series will follow three wildly different voyages to share the diverse and breathtaking landscape of our planet. Filmed on board Princess Cruises ships, the series will journey to the frozen peaks of Alaska, the dazzling coastlines of South Korea and Japan, as well as travelling through ancient history via the Mediterranean.
Along the way, viewers will meet guests and crew on board the ships for the extraordinary trips. The series will follow them on sea and on land as they embark on bucket-list experiences and explore terrains like volcanic basins, archaeological sites, and cities with fascinating cuisine and culture.
Deborah Dunnett, Channel 4 Commissioning Editor, said: “Some of us can only dream of these far-flung explorations, wildlife, weather and culture, so I’m looking forward to experiencing our world’s dramatic landscapes and ancient history from the comfort of home.”
Elaine Hackett, CEO of Crackit TV, added: “Cruising to the Ends of the Earth is a unique new addition to the cruising genre, as every episode offers viewers incredibly awe-inspiring, geographically thrilling landscapes and experiences. Viewers will be bedazzled by the breathtaking natural beauty of Alaska one minute and enchanted by the ancient traditions of Japan the next. It’s a privilege to bring these beautiful, distant worlds into viewers’ living rooms later this year.”
Watch or stream on Channel 4 later this year.
