CELEBRITY BIG BROTHER TONIGHT: WEDNESDAY 20 MARCH

DAVID'S SECRET MISSION COMES WITH A TWIST

It’s a new day in the Big Brother house, and Big Brother has a surprise up its sleeve for David.

Calling him to the diary room, he is told news of a secret mission: that he must start an argument in the house with his fellow housemates.

However, unbeknownst to David, this mission is actually fake, and instead, Big Brother has a separate task for the rest of the housemates. Gathered in the living room by Big Brother, they are told the news of David’s fake task. Their secret mission is to avoid any arguments with David, “using any measure possible to de-escalate and quash any conflict”.

TODAY’S TASK POPS OFF

Today’s task sees the housemates split into two teams with Zeze and Nikita as captains. They must attempt to protect a set of balloons whilst at the same time bursting the opposing team’s balloons with a pin. The winners of the challenge will win a Chinese takeaway feast that evening.

On the yellow team led by Zeze is Marisha, Fern and Bradley

On the red team led by Nikita is David, Louis and Colson

However, someone’s bubble is quickly burst as they take a tumble and have to sit the rest of the game out.

With one player down and both teams getting uber competitive, who will reign victorious?

LOUIS SPILLS THE TEA ON HIS SHOWBIZ FRIENDS

Sitting in the kitchen with Colson and Fern, Louis reveals he is good friends with the Irish actor, Colin Farrell.

Explaining: “I know him very well as he auditioned for Boyzone and he told me he wanted to be an actor, I knew him from Dublin”

Fern comments: “And now he has an Oscar, doesn’t he?”

Louis goes on to say of his audition: “I said ‘you can’t sing, I can’t give you the gig’ because I knew him very well. And he said to me ‘oh I wanna be an actor’ and I said ‘you’re wasting your f***ing time.’”

Louis adds: “He went and he worked, no no, he worked it”

Colson says: “He’s amazing”

Fern adds: “And he’s very cool”

THE HOUSEMATES OPEN UP TO ONE ANOTHER

Later that evening, the housemates open up to one another in the garden.

Colson asks Louis of his proudest accomplishment of his working career, with Louis responding: “Honestly, I think I’m lucky to be still working. I think I’m lucky to have gotten a break originally with Boyzone, that started my life. Simon Cowell changed my life because I met him, I did so many things with him. I think I’m just lucky to be working, that’s absolutely true, and still getting away with it!”

Nikita is asked to share his thoughts on what is more important, talent or ambition, sharing his thoughts he says “Ambition probably… talent can just get you to a certain point but when you don’t have that drive, when you don’t have that hunger, when you don’t have that love..”

Reflecting on his past, David explains: “A couple of years ago was not for me, if I was ever in a situation like this right now I’d just make a joke out of something, or I wouldn’t engage in it”.

He goes on to say: “I think because I had a really sh*t time at school, when I left school I just really protected my emotions, and I just kind of like, built a barrier and built a wall, and it was just jokes, or nothing. So it took time definitely, there would’ve been years where I never would’ve had this conversation with any of you…”

Celebrity Big Brother continues tonight at 9pm on ITV1. Stream the series so far on ITVX.
