TALES FROM THE RIVERBANK: CLARE BALDING TO FRONT NEW CHANNEL 5 SERIES

Channel 5 have commissioned Tales From The Riverbank (6x60'), a new six-part series presented by Clare Balding which will tell the stories of Britain's most iconic rivers whilst exploring the sights and sounds of each river and its inhabitants.



Balding, who is currently presenting Lost Dogs Live for Channel 5, will explore the famous landmarks local delicacies, whilst speaking to the locals and day trippers who enjoy the waterways and its wildlife.



Clare Balding added said: “There is something truly magical about life on the water and I am looking forward to meeting the people, exploring the landscape and seeing the wildlife that thrives on the banks of our glorious rivers. I can’t think of a better way to spend my summer than telling tales from the riverbank.”
