BEAT THE CHASERS WILL RETURN FOR THIRD RUN LATER THIS YEAR

Bradley Walsh hosts as The Beast, The Governess, The Sinnerman, The Vixen and The Dark Destroyer join forces again to create the greatest quiz team in the world.

In the Cash Builder contestants face five multiple choice questions, with the chance to bank up to £5,000. Contestants are then given the option of playing between two and five Chasers for increasing amounts of money, but with a decreasing time advantage against them.

In the final round, play sees questions swap from contestant to the Chasers. But get a question wrong and their individual or team clock keeps counting down until a question is answered correctly. First to run out of time loses the game.

The most recent series, its 7 episodes averaged 4.1 million viewers and a 21% market share, which is 30% up on the slot audience (3.1m/17.2%) and 3.8 points up on the slot share. The series won its broadcast time slot six out of the seven nights.

The series will record in the coming months and air on ITV later this year. A fourth series is also expected to air this Autumn.
