BIG BROTHER TONIGHT: TUESDAY 08th OCTOBER 2024
Here's a rundown of what to expect in tonight's episode of Big Brother, which continues on ITV2 and ITVX.
NATHAN AND DAZE HAVE A HEATED DISAGREEMENT ABOUT THE MONARCHY
The Housemates wake up in the Big Brother house for the first time.
Meanwhile in Storage, Nathan spills the royal tea to Non-Housemates Lily and Emma about his time working as a butler for the King before Daze jumps in to share her opinion on the Royal Family.
Daze says, “I don’t really care about them, but I don’t like the fact that we’re paying for them… The fact that we’re paying for them when everyone is like economically strapped. I feel like if they paid for themselves…” Nathan jumps in and says, “But do you not think they do?”
Daze responds, “No they don’t. They’re like tourism thing is not as much as they’re actually spending from the public body, it really just isn’t… Like let them use their private wealth to take care of their very expensive lifestyle. Like we’ve got so many poor kids who don’t get to eat, we’ve got pensioners who can’t afford their own fuel, like we can’t… like those two worlds shouldn’t be able to exist.”
Nathan questions Daze, “But do you know the thing, generally it’s the pensioners that actually are the biggest supporters of the monarchy… But not everything is about money, sometimes tradition is quite nice…”
A few moments later in the conversation, Daze says, “…I’m not even against having a King or Queen or whatever, but I am against it when it’s like literally we could be using that money to feed children who are actually starving. Like our schools are crumbling…”
Thomas contributes, “I think it’s a load of shit, but I also think it’s really important.” Nathan replies, “I think it’s important and I think it’s part of being… like I’m proud to be British and I think you all should be.” Will Nathan and Daze be able to overcome their contrasting opinions or is this the start of a divide?
BIG BROTHER’S CANINE FRIEND GIVES NON-HOUSEMATES ANOTHER CHANCE TO ESCAPE EVICTION
Big Brother gives the Non-Housemates a second chance to re-enter the house and prevent themselves from being up for eviction.
In this head-to-head battle, one Non-Housemate has the chance to prove they are a better Housemate than one of their Housemate rivals. If they win, they will enter the house as a Housemate and no longer face eviction whilst their rival goes to the storage room and becomes a Non-Housemate.
To become a Housemate, they need to be loveable. Deciding who’s the most loveable will be Big Brother’s canine friend Max the dog. Non-Housemates decide that Daze is the most loveable. Daze must choose which Housemate is least loveable to compete against. She chooses Segun.
Big Brother tasks Rosie with taking Max the dog outside to the garden where they will stand on a paw print opposite Daze and Segun. Max the dog will then decide who is the most loveable by walking to either Daze or Segun first.
With housemate status on the line, who will Max the dog choose as most loveable?
BIG BROTHER’S DREADED DARE CARDS
Big Brother announces the final head-to-head challenge to the Non-Housemates. They must decide which one of them is the most competitive. Thomas volunteers for the challenge and must choose which housemate he thinks is the least competitive to be his opponent. He chooses Rosie.
Big Brother says, “Thomas, if you win, you’ll become a housemate and move into the house. While Rosie will take your place in storage and face eviction instead of you.”
Faced with Big Brother’s Dreaded Dare Cards, one by one Thomas and Rosie will select a card, turn it over, and face the dare it holds. If they complete their dare and their opponent doesn’t, they win the game.
In the first round, Thomas’ card says he must wear a bucket at all times, to which he agrees. Rosie then selects a card that says she must now be referred to as Baked Potato, to which she agrees and from then on is called Baked Potato.
But in the fourth round, Thomas is dared to shred three of his fellow Non-Housemates' personal photos. Will he complete this dreaded dare? Who will be leaving the task as a fully-fledged Housemate?
ONE LAST CHANCE TO BECOME A HOUSEMATE
Big Brother gives the Non-Housemates one final chance to become a Housemate and avoid facing eviction. They must put their hand up for Housemate status and hold it there. The final Housemate with their hand up wins and will avoid the first eviction.
Who’s got the stamina to survive? Who will show the most determination? And which Non-Housemates will face eviction?
