ALISON HAMMOND 'SET TO FRONT WHEEL OF FORTUNE REBOOT'

ITV are reportedly rebooting the iconic gameshow after nearly two decades.

Alison Hammond is set to present a reboot of Wheel Of Fortune, which originally ran from 1989-2001 on ITV with host Nicky Campbell.

A pilot has reportedly been recorded, which could lead to a full series. A source told The Sun: "Her profile has rocketed recently. She's delivered some standout interviews."

Wheel Of Fortune sees contestants compete to solve word puzzles to win cash and prizes. At the centre of the studio is a giant carnival wheel that contestants spin throughout the programme to determine their prize(s).
