ITV have opted not to renew 99 To Beat, the Saturday night gameshow hosted by Ryan and Adam Thomas, for a second series, TV Zone understands.

In their first presenting role together, Adam and Ryan presided over all of the nail-biting action, offering playful commentary while guiding the 100 contestants through the experience as they go head-to-head in a range of simple, quirky and often hilarious games.
99 to Beat is the game show that anyone can win, but there’s one rule players must follow if they’re to be in with a chance of walking away with the cash prize – Don’t. Come. Last. As contestants battle it out against each other, each round will see the number of players whittled down until one person takes the top prize.
An ITV Spokesperson told TV Zone: "99 To Beat is the biggest entertainment launch this year across all channels and streaming platforms. It reached 12.5 million viewers and was streamed over 4 million times on ITVX. The Thomas Brothers are fantastic presenters, but we are reviewing our schedule and will announce in due course.”

ITV have numerous new Saturday night formats in development, starting with the launches of Win Win, You Bet! On Tour and Celebrity Sabotage this Autumn. Also returning later this year is Romesh Ranganathan's Parents' Evening, Bullseye and all-new The 1% Club Rollover.
Plus, following his exit from the BBC earlier this year, Gary Lineker is heading to ITV as host of new reality adventure series The Box. The series is due to film this Autumn and is expected to air next Spring in a Saturday night primetime slot.
The Box will see a dozen celebrities placed at mercy of The Box. Each famous face enter a box and are transferred to a different location. When the box opens at the new location, the famous faces must face whatever is in front of them - with no prior warning on what or who may be on the other side of the box or the task they will have to complete.
99 To Beat is available now on ITVX.
